Thai One On - Day 7

  • Breakfast of eggs, egg and spinach patties and squash at a hole-in-the-wall place where only locals were eating -- good and super cheap at less than $3 total including two bottles of water!
  • Rode tuk-tuk from hotel to Jungle Bungy for an impromptu morning bungee jump -- what a rush! Scarier than sky diving, but holding onto each other made it slightly less scary than going solo.

  • Grabbed lunch at restaurant near hostel of rice with shrimp in garlic pepper, and rice with shrimp in curry paste, plus black iced tea, which was phenomenally better than any iced tea we'd ever had.
  • Took a 90-minute ferry ride from Phuket to stunning Ko Phi Phi island. Checked into Sacha's room in Tonsai Village, then returned to street to buy raspberry and lychee fruit shakes.
  • Popped in for $6 hour-long massages at a place a few doors down, followed by eating huge portions of pad Thai w/ chicken, and cashew nut chicken w/ chili and onion, at Papaya restaurant.
  • Drinks on the beach at Apache Bar where we met a couple our age from Canada and reunited with two Scottish friends we had met on the ferry ride over -- danced and partied the night away!
