South Africa - Day 5

• Left Phalaborwa before sun-up and drove through the beautiful Drakensberg Escarpment.

• Stopped to check out a section of Blyde River Canyon and saw three klipsringers.

• Visited various waterfalls and lookouts along the way.

• Took in the fantastic panoramic view at 'God's Window' and perused the nearby market.

• Ate meat-filled pancakes for lunch at Harrie's Pancakes in Graskop, then stopped for drinks at the Church Bar in Pilgrim's Rest (a former church built in 1884 and eventually converted into a bar).

• Camped in the mountains and had the entire place to ourselves! For dinner we cooked cheese sausage, veggie kebabs and corn on the cob on the braai, then enjoyed drinks around the fire.
